Gayatri attended the Sir JJ School of Art. She lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
The Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art (Sir J. J. School of Art), is the oldest art institution in Mumbai, and is affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

This painting glories in the reds and the golden colors. The painting is intriguing and the golden colors bring to mind The Kiss  by Gustav Klimt which makes the word golden golden. Gayatri’s art has a fluidity and a cultural base which is truly beautiful.

This art came in through the new Artvilla Facebook Page. We hope to publish more art  of Gayatri Bhutada. Here is a blogger shout out for the Sir JJ School of art and the artists they are producing.

First Painting by David Michael Jackson Ever Shown in Public

Dog Painting

September 18, 2012

Painting of Dog placed in

Moxie’s Window in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

twenty years after it was painted.

The day was unheralded and

three dogs would have been seen

walking by

but all dogs are no longer

free and must be walked

daily by

people who are not walking by Moxie

but

I

was.

Thank you Moxie

I’m trying to come out of my shell. My little town has an Art Walk now and I’m showing some pieces for the first time. My images have been on the net since 1996. I have, however been in my shell.

Abstract Landscape Painting by Glenn Merchant

Abstract Landscape Painting by Glenn Merchant

Abstract Landscape Painting
Is that an art genre? Maybe it should be. Is that a contradiction. An abstract is, by definition, a painting that does not represent the real. Of course there is no definition for an abstract painting and it could be said that a landscape painting cannot represent the real world either being both flat and made of paint.
A very beautiful painting. So full of color and so exuberant, a celebration it seems.

It is by Tennessee Artist Glenn Merchant.
