Loneliness Poem by David Michael Jackson

poem about being left alone
poem of love
poem of loneliness
a poem in the night
to hold back the beast
just a little bit
a little silence in words
Oh paint me a picture of the wind in the trees
Oh sing me a song with clapping of hands
Oh carry me home with a chorus of
love
and remember the lost one in the night
writing poems
alone

Snow Bird Winter Poem by Marilyn McIntyre

Winter Storm
by Marilyn McIntyre

Soft ermine hedges
and Cool Whip lawns
the feeder hides half its height
trees dusted lightly
in confectioner’s sugar
the whole world a creamy delight
wind whipping treetops
howling ’round panes
fire crackling straight through the night
everything soft as
that saintly man’s beard
moon shadows in unearthly light
for today God has
touched the land here and then there
changing barren to heaven’s pure white.

Angel Whispers Poem by Marilyn McIntyre

Angel Whispers
by Marilyn McIntyre

Angel Whispers
the time is upon us
rest, rest
clouds of snow
drift gently down
rest, rest
violin, serene
words alone
thoughts untangle
time solely owned
rest, rest
sing to your heart
wordlessly murmur
lullabies and time
to rest, to rest
womb and warmth
rockabye, rockabye
shush, hush, dream
to rest, to rest
listen, feel, fly
the angels whisper
rustle, ascend
