i know i lived there once
in another world
i was there in the details
my great aunt's house it was
in another time
barefoot toes in blades of grass
lemonade on front porch swings
i know i lived there once
in a making of my own dimensions
i danced on moonlit nights
fairies at my feet
maypoles, flowers, sweetgrass
we didn't name it Oaklands
we only knew it as home.
