I know I was loved
but I think that by the time I came around
and I grew up
I could see it up there
Couldn’t Reach It

I’ve never thought I wasn’t
but
And all the other kids were grown up
all the love was up in the air
for those adult kids to catch
and feel
and reciprocate
with all this love
up high in the air
I knew it was there
but I couldn’t touch it
I couldn’t feel it
I couldn’t reach it
