Momentary Specks Poem by David Michael Jackson

Not So Clever afterall
It’s just me
nobody important,
just me
This ant in your collar,
this speck in your journal.
Cover,
look.
You can see
dancing across your screen,
just a momentary sparkle
in your own little
universe.
Did we really exist
or were we just a momentary specks.

On the Misery and Pain of Life by Andy Derryberry

Oh the misery and pain that this life has…

But the morning sky
The evening glow
A gentle rain
Flying birds
A friend’s care
A furry cat
Silly dogs
The small of a pretty woman’s back
The touch of a friend
The love of a brother
A kind word
A caring hug
Old love and new
Of a beautiful woman
I’ll endure misery and pain for these
I’ll endure anything

Aaron Sorkin by Summer Breeze

the final rub is always here
to stay and witness the jackals emplode
or leave
before the towers topple
“the phalic Washington monument
fits nicely on it’s side
inside the gigantic cathedral”
where is Aaron Sorkin the brilliant
writer of our dreams
of a compassionate West Wing
the logical
ethical
my jake grows weary
of arrows pinging
from other men’s insecurities
seeing their own reflection
there is shelter from the storm
‘they’ get their fry day
we have our mon day
mon o mon
give jake back to jake
and to us

Death Relieved Poem by Rachael Gleeson

For S.P:

Death, tears, honour, pain
Throwing, hurting, beating heart, breaking heart
Shows me why, why
She wanted to relieve
Relieve her pain, her suffering
Psychological pain, ache
Beating down, pouring down,
Cannot think
I cannot say I know how she
Feels I want to understand
To have felt her pain, to feel her pain.
The extremity of hurt,
No human should exceed,
I want to help, it”s too late,
Long before my time, she went
She left, she thought,
She pushed down the barrier,
She got through the barrier.

Loyalty Poem

One Loyalty Poem — Maybe More
___________________________________

Loyalty: by Rachael Gleeson

Sat.
My eye line deterred
from the material
yet my mind still drawn
to be there the want
to lie, to do, to wait
and see what lies ahead
what happens, the return
owed to me, the whisper
and secrets, the discretion
and hurt,
no, I just want
to break.

Loyalty by David Michael Jackson

Loyalty means little without love
Loyalty always requires
review
unfortunantly sometimes
for
loyalty.
Loyalty is the ring on the finger
it is the vow,
it
is never
it is never
ever free
without
love.
