Forgotten Corners

No Whores in Doorways Poem

I have no whores

no cigarrette butts

no subway graffitti

no gutsy New York or
Chicago poem

no Buk

no pound of flesh

no whores in doorways

no nights spent scratching my stubble while
streets are lined with derelict lives.

no dirty plates

just
the quiet of solitude

the purpose of
doing nothing
on purpose

no whores in doorways
no grit

just a cat
asleep

and that dear

is enough

Forgotten Corners

Forgotten corners
hideaways like the

forgotten corners of a keyboard,
the feeling of the keys
the fingers now flying
click click spacebar click

like time ticking these words away
silently
almost silent almost not there at all
these words
these poems

always in the night
always alone with the day

so what to say this day
this day
this day
this insignificant day

this most important day

silence

like a brake
like a wake

like this poem

falling falling into nothingness
I am falling falling into nothingness
from almost nothing
to
nothing
not existing at all
or there like a
stone in the river
being swept along
by the water
The water flows over me
and I am cleansed
and cold

The last poem was old man in a wet month in a silent room sitting in a chair. The next poem is Just Start Poem
